A South Louisiana kitchen in the heart of Central Texas, since 2012.
Chef Ben Mouton grew up in South Louisiana, where étouffée and gumbo aren't something you order — they're something your family makes on a Sunday afternoon. Years of kitchens in New Orleans and across Texas refined the techniques, but the soul of the menu is the same one he grew up with.
In 2012 he brought that kitchen to Cedar Park. The idea was simple: serve the food he'd eaten his whole life, make the neighborhood feel at home, and keep the bar open late enough for the after-dinner crowd.
Warm wood, soft light, a proper bar, and a private room for the parties that need one. It's built for a long brunch with family, a quick lunch between meetings, and a slow dinner with wine.
We're at 1821 S Lakeline Blvd #104 in Cedar Park, open every day of the week, with late hours Wednesday through Saturday.
A full breakfast and brunch daily, a Louisiana-leaning lunch and dinner menu, weekend jazz, weekday trivia, Saturday boils, and a bar that knows its classics.
