The menu and food are excellent, but the real draw is the service. They've always made me feel welcome.
Gumbo that simmers for hours. Boudin made by hand. A bar that pours late. Mouton's is Chef Ben Mouton's love letter to the bayou, served daily in Cedar Park.
Chef Ben Mouton grew up on the drive between Austin and New Orleans, so the menu at Mouton's reads like that road trip — Gulf shrimp, Elgin smoked sausage, a dark roux from Grandma's kitchen, and a little Texas heat stirred in where it belongs.
Breakfast and brunch land on the table every morning. Crawfish and shrimp boils hit the patio on Saturdays. And the bar keeps pouring well after most kitchens have called it a night.
See What's On This WeekServed every day. Bread pudding French toast, eggs Rachel, cheese grits, and a mimosa flight that's practically a food group.

Pull up a stool →Our kitchen rotates features all year — candied pecan bacon pancakes in the morning, crawfish boudin balls at the bar, and a Salmon Benedict that's become a Sunday ritual.
There's something going on almost every evening — live jazz at Sunday brunch, poker Mondays, trivia Wednesdays, and a Saturday shrimp boil that spills out onto the patio.
A live trio, bottomless coffee, and the benedicts you come back for.

The menu and food are excellent, but the real draw is the service. They've always made me feel welcome.
That Pain Perdu is perfect every time. The Fried Green Tomato Benedict is also delicious.
AMAZING Eggs Benedict — the crab cakes were fantastic. Everything on the plate looked great.
The servings are big — come hungry. The pecan pancakes were as big as the plate.
